Last night I slept on the sometimes a sofa bed. Right on my friend Niamh feet. To keep her toasty warm.
Sometimes I slept in my crate in our bed room so Craig would not get too lonely.
But mostly I slept with Niamh. Ha.
So when I was all awake so was Niamh.
So we had a together breakfast. But we did not have ice creams today. Oh well.
Craig did not have a sleep in today.
So when he was all awake Niamh and I drove in the fast car to the other pond and I had a run around.
Before it got way too hot.
And we practiced coming back to Niamh too.
I got treats for being a good listener.
My friend Zita is in Ireland.
Because her aeroplane did not get lost at all.
And she sent me pictures of downtown Dublin.
So I would know that she got there. And was not just lost somewhere else.
Then she went to her parent’s home.
That is where she used to live when she was little and did not have any nice Bouvier dogs like me to mind her.
There is a swing in her backyard.
But it is a go high up in the air swing, not have a nice nap swing like ours. Oh well.
After my lunch break Mister Paul came over. On his bicycle.
He was very hot.
Because it is a very hot day today.
But there was a brand new beer in the refrigerator, so he did not die. That was good.
And when he left it was time for my second lunch.
Then it was time for my next afternoon nap.
On hot days if you lay right beside the hole in the floor that is where the cold wind comes from you are not even a bit hot. Ha.
Furrgus and Festis
After peering out side we decided to keep the blinds closed. Even just after sunrise it was noticeably warm.
So knowing what that foretold we kept the blinds as they were.
Our Niamh and her four legged shadow were also up early.
As the sofa bed from the extra room came upstairs to accommodate Miss Pancake during Mrs. T’s absence.
So they were both awake, Niamh earlier than usual I must say.
But she announced that she and Miss P were driving to the far pond to practise their homework.
They were driving as she said it was already too hot to walk there.
We, aligning that statement with our own situation caused us to expedite our schedule.
So we were off to Starbucks to fill our thermoses with iced coffee before visiting Heaven’s Creamery, to fill up on ice cream.
To ensure we would not wilt in the forecast heat.
Fortunately the house is replete with freezers.
We noticed that is is not so warm in Dublin for Mrs. T, but we did notice that she found a purveyor of croissants and assorted pastries.
Well that will help brighten the tip to her parents we have no doubt.
Miss Pancake
I was fast asleep when Niamh and Tarryn came home from their work.
So we all went for a long walk over to the other pond and we practiced coming back. Lots of times.
Then we got too hot and we came home to our very cool house.
I got some ice to cool me off.
But it was way to hot for cooking.
So Niamh and Tarryn and I all got in the car and went to a special pizza store.
And it only makes very thin pizzas.
And it was right beside my favourite ice cream store. So we got some of that too.
My goodness. That was a good idea.
But it was very busy.
Because it was a very hot day today.
So we had to wait for a while.
I guarded the car all by myself. But I could see Niamh and Tarryn.
But then we went home to have a delicious all together dinner.
Then Lee and Cara and Mister Devon came to get Niamh and Tarryn and they walked to Lily’s
Because tomorrow and her own little shovel are going to fly to far away Greece.
To find hidden treasures.
