It was not so nice outside today. It was a just sometimes windy rain day. Oh well.
We only went for a little walk because I was a bit too tired.
So I looked out my window when Zita was busy getting all ready.
Last night I had to mind Niamh when we took Miss Emily to her new apartment.
And it was very late. Past my bedtime.
But when we got there man came out from a car where our car was parked.
But I very fierce barked him all away. Ha. Good for me.
That is why I was so tired this morning. Too bad for me.
It was Monday go to work today so I just stayed in our office so I could be Zita’s very best helper.
Niamh went to her other job today. At the stretch yourself store.
She does not get any money.
But she gets to go to those stretching classes for free. My goodness. I did not know that.
Festis and Furrgus
Well I suppose it was meteorologically inevitable. Today dawned with rain and a following wind.
So we attended to our weather proofing and set out on patrol.
As the neighbourhood was free of obvious threats it was off to Little Victories.
Fortunately Mondays are relatively quiet so we were undisturbed while we savoured our coffees and a small plate of pastries.
We took the opportunity to discuss Cousin Morag’s latest preoccupation.
We all agreed that it is doomed to failure, so what could we do to refocus that boundless energy into something not destined to disillusion her.
Dugal said we needed to consult with the distaff side of the Blackthorn-Badgers.
As it was his suggestion, Dugal was tasked with consulting Aunt Elseabeth and Cousin Hortencia as quickly as possible.
It was my brother who also suggested Cook, who deals with Morag every day.
We could not believe we had not instantly thought of it. Ahh well - age I suspect.
Miss Pancake
After I had my first lunch I went to our office to help Zita with our rascal ladies work.
Last night Niamh and Miss Emily got lots and lots of the most beautiful flowers from our own garden.
Zita and I made sure they got the right ones.
So now we have lots of beautiful flowers for our special party day tomorrow.
Then Miss Sach and her noisy Jeep came to visit me. And Niamh too. Ha.
I was very happy. Ha.
Then they went to get lots and lots of beers for our tomorrow party.
So Zita and I made Craig and neat and tidy for tomorrow’s special day. Ha.
And then Niamh’s friends came over and I minded them while we sat in the side yard. Ha.
Miss Sach had not seen me since I got all neat and tidy.
And she said that I look like a puppy.
That is true. Because that is what I am. Ha.
We had everyone for a giant pasta for everyone dinner. My goodness me.
I was very busy.
Niamh made the flowers as beautiful as could be.
And they were right on our dining room table. When we had our dinner. Ha.
After dinner Zita got that noisy floor machine because to make every as clean as could be.
Because of tomorrow’s special day.
