Day Two Hundred and Forty Nine

Miss Pancake

Today was a Craig and Pancake day.

Because after Zita and the fast car went to her downtown office.

Because she had important errands to do.

And Niamh had to go to her lovely shop early today.

Because she was getting it open for everyone.

So she walked quickly to her shop, before all the customers got there.

So then it was a quiet Craig and Pancake day.

But we had the last cinnamon bun for our other breakfast.

Now are are no more.

Because we ate them all. Oh well.

Then I had my morning nap.

And then Craig and I went outside for a little while.

Then I had another nap. Until lunchtime.

But ate my lunch too fast and got a little bit sick.

But Craig made it all clean again. Right away.

Then we went outside for a long time and I had a very nice relax.

And I watched all the birds too.

Then we came back in and I found a very big bug.

Right in our living room. Oh my goodness.

So I went over to it and I showed it to Craig.

And it was very big.

So he squashed with a big book. Oh my goodness.

And then he cleaned it all up.

Then we went into the den.

So I could finish my nap and Craig could read his book.

We had a quiet day. Except for that big bug.

Furrgus and Festis

We roused Uncle, and after morning patrol we all decided to wander over the bridge and visit our oatmeal restaurant for breakfast.

And as it is nearly beside the Life of Pie we ordered a brace of peach and raspberry pies to bring our stock up to normal.

We picked them up as we passed the bakery on our way home.

Being confined to the house for that day and a half made quick work of the pie supply I must say.

With the forest fire situation still problematic, we did not want to be caught short.

When we got home there was only Mr. T and our youngest protégée, the formidable Miss Pancake at home.

As we were more than a bit embarrassed by the near dozen pies we were carrying we shared a rather tasty apple, peach combination with them.

Fortunately the great kilt has enough extra flow to easily obscure the exact number of pies we were importing. Thank goodness.

But unfortunately we had overlooked restocking the whipping cream.

Festis put it on his To Do list.

Miss Pancake

When Zita got home she brought me a brand new squid for me to fight. Ha. That was a nice present.

My old squid got so all chewed up it did not have any arms. I think I did that. Oh well.

But before dinnertime Zita and I went for our before dinnertime walk.

So I would not forget about everything again.

Then we sat on our summertime swing.

Because it was as beautiful as could be tonight. Ha.

Niamh did not have dinner with us because she went to a big concert.

And the lady who was singing went to school with Niamh. Oh my goodness.

That will make everybody very happy.

Craig and Zita had some of the tasty chicken. Niamh did not eat it all last night.

Then we went and watched our detective program and I had a very nice relax beside my friend Zita.

And when I woke up it was just the right time for me to go to my comfy bed.
