Day Two Hundred and Fifty Seven

Miss Pancake 

It was not smelly outside this morning. 

So after our breakfast and Zita’s coffee we went to our farm. That was a good idea. 

We did not go in the fields. 

Because that is where the nasty bugs live. So we went on all the sidewalks. And even the parking lots. 

But our parking lot was all full up with cars.

Because there were people driving very fast bicycles on the roads. 

Then we went to the badgers restaurant and got some very delicious pecan sticky buns. 

I stayed in the car to mind it. 

But I could see Zita inside the restaurant so I could mind her too. Ha. 

Then we came home and sat outside on our comfy chair and waited for Craig to get up.

But we did not know that he was already up. 

He thought we were still at the farm. 

And we thought he was still fast asleep. But he was not.

He was in the living room.

But I found him. Ha. Good for me. 

Then Zita had to do her errand. I waited for her at my windows.

And when she came back from her friends’ s empty house Craig and Zita had those tasty sticky buns and more coffees. 

In the living room. 

Then I had a nap.

When Craig had his coffee with his friends on the computer I stayed with him on the comfy sofa.

But then Zita went to Susan’s to drink tea. I went back to sleep. 

Festis and Furrgus 

Well fortunately the air was pleasantly clear this morning. 

Which was a very good thing as all three of us needed a good long walk in the fresh air. To dispel the cobwebs let me tell you.

As my memory recalls, which admittedly is a bit suspect. We turned the last page about 5 of the morning. 

It took another half hour or so to remove the evidence of a rather good time, as I best recall. 

So we all went to The Wild Oat, as their menu does tend toward the healthy. 

According to Miss Pancake Mrs. T was there this morning also, picking up some pastries.

We did not see her, but as we all felt more comfortable with our eyes quite closed this morning it was not surprising. 

Many many cups of coffees later we felt robust enough to walk home. We avoided the crowds of bicycles on the canal walkway.

So it was with some relief that on returning home we settled in for our afternoon naps. 

Miss Pancake 

My friend Niamh is still away. 

Last night she and Sach and Tarryn stayed with their friends in the lovely by the ocean house 

Because today they are putting all their most beautiful clothes on.

Because they are going to a very big party in a garden. My goodness me. 

You cannot have parties in our garden because someone might squish our beautiful flowers. I would not like that.

Because my job is to mind our beautiful flowers. It is known. 

I had a very nice nap on top of where all the cold air comes up. 

Later, when I was awake, Zita and I went to the other Susan’s just for dogs store to get my tasty food. 

And we went in the go fast car. Ha.

I had a very good time.

But when we got home Zita had to go out and keep our other garden beautiful too. 

But I had to stay inside and keep Craig company. Until dinnertime. 

We had bacon for our dinner. Bacon is very very tasty. Sometimes I get a little bit too. Ha.

After dinnertime Craig had to find a brand new detective program.

Because we watched the other one until it was all over. Oh dear.
