Day Two Hundred and Thirteen

Miss Pancake 

I was very very busy this morning. Oh my goodness I was. 

Today is Zita’s downtown office day. 

But it was an early meeting day. 

So Niamh and I drove her right to her other office. 

And then when we came home I took Niamh for a very nice walk all around my block.

And she saw our pond too. 

And today it was all full up. Everywhere. My goodness me.

Then we went to Sach’s apartment for coffee and I ran all around her apartment. 

I got ice cubes. 

And I jumped on her bed too. Ha. 

And when we went back to our hose Craig was making his next coffee so it was time for round toasts. Ha.

Then Niamh got her go to work clothes on so she could go to the lovely shop.

But I stayed here to mind my friend Craig. And it was time for my morning nap too. 

Furrgus and Festis. 

Everything was all a bustle here this morning. 

Niamh and Miss Dog took Mrs. T downtown just as we were setting off on morning patrol. 

We had a very peaceful night as we had no missives from afar, so completely rested we rather looked forward to our morning ramble.

As of this morning the pond is completely filled, so we checked the condition of far pond also. To make sure. 

Since we were almost at the long bridge, we threw caution to the wind, and went to Life of Pie for breakfast. 

Since Dugal had noticed that our pastry reserves were virtually negligible it was a timely decision. 

So after a plate or so of chocolate waffles and raspberry tarts we packed up the supplies.

 

We made it home before the rain reappeared. 

We popped the pastries into the basement freezer before temptation got the better of us. 

Miss Pancake 

After Niamh was gone to her shop it was a Craig and Pancake day so we had a long relax. 

It was not so lovely outside so it was just the right day for a relax. 

So we had a very nice relax until it was our lunchtime. Then I woke up. Ha. 

I always wake up for my lunchtime. 

My friends the badgers had delicious chocolate waffles for their breakfast. 

So Craig and I had waffles for our lunch. With strawberries jam on top. 

We had two of them. 

But our waffles were from the refrigerator not brand new ones. Oh well. 

They were tasty anyway. Good for us. 

Then I had another relax until it was time for my second lunchtime. 

Now I have two lunches and two dinners so I will not be too skinny anymore. Ha. That is a good idea. 

We had before dinnertime cookies. And I licked away all the crumbs on the plate. Ha. That was an easy job. 

Then I had a nap. 

I always start to look out my watching window, but then just like that I am fast asleep. 

Oh well. Craig was still awake. 

And maybe even Mister Furrgus and Mister Festis. Maybe. 

They are sometimes fast asleep, even all day.

Because they stay up way too late at night playing cards. And eating doughnuts. Oh my.

Tomorrow is Zita’s mother’s birthday. 

And then she will very old. Today she is only old. It is known.

When Zita got home I was so excited I found a beautiful rock and gave it to her.

She was very pleased. Good for me. 

We had the shepherds pie for dinner. 

And when Craig and Zita were finished I had my second dinner.

Then it was detective program time in the den. Ha.

But Niamh and Tarryn and Sach came here and I had to help them make their dinner. 

So they would not starve all away. 

I am always a big help. 

It is my best job. It is known.
