Day Two Hundred and Twenty Nine

I attacked Craig this morning. Right on the comfy bed. Ha. And I won. Ha.

Then I helped Zita do some dusting with the long dusting stick. Ha. That is a very good game too.

Today is a clean all the house day. Oh well.

Then I ran all over the house. As fast as could be. Ha.

But then Zita had to go to her get beautiful hair store. Oh well.

And I was a bit tired so I had my nap.

It was just a little bit of all the time rain outside.

So I had my nap on the living room floor.

Then I heard something and I had to go and guard my house.

Maybe it was a lost giant bear.

But I barked very fiercely and it went away.

Craig could not see it. Too bad for him.

Then he went in the den to have his coffees with his breakfast friends on his computer.

But I just stayed in the living room. Because I was fast asleep.

But when Zita came home she was all beautiful again. And she brought brand new croissants for us.

So when Craig was talking to his friends I helped him with a very tasty croissant. And it had jam on top. Ha.

And then Niamh was home too and she was very busy.

Because she had to get everything ready so she could go to the Mahoney’s cottage.

I was very busy this afternoon too, because I had to protect Zita from that noisy floor machine. That is a hard job.

Because sometimes she does not want me to help. I do not know why. That is a silly machine.

Festis and Furrgus

It was another much of a muchness day today.

So after our patrol we all went to the Wild Oat for omelettes and an extra side of fried potatoes.

And several espressos, to wash everything down.

As Monday is a statutory holiday, we decided to pick up some of their cupcakes, lest we run short.

Best be prepared is our watchword where pastries are concerned.

And we have never regretted having a surplus of them.

The staff kindly provided a plastic bag to protect them from the drizzle.

When we arrived home all the household was present, minus our Emmet of course.

Mrs. T was well into the required house cleaning process, so we hid in the basement lest she felt the necessity of vacuuming us again.

Once a year is quite sufficient in our opinion.

Miss Pancake

It was still all the time rain this afternoon.

I do not think anyone went to visit the beautiful flowers today. That was too bad.

Because those flowers are still all beautiful even in the rain. Oh well.

Mister Aidan came in his too fast car to take Niamh to the cottage.

But because Mister Aidan was very slow at getting all awake first Niamh went to the grocery store to get all her stuff to take to the cottage.

Because she is going to make a very delicious cake.

So everybody at the cottage can have a brand new cake for their desserts.

Because you cannot visit people if you are not a very big help. It is the rule.

Miss Tara was at the cottage too. Maybe Mister Kirian would be there too. Maybe.

When Mister Aidan got her he was so surprised because I am getting big. Ha.

Niamh took so much stuff that Aidan had to carry some bags to the car. My goodness.

Then they drove to the beautiful lake where the cottage is.

And after they left Craig helped me look out the watching window.

Because it was just Craig and here to guard the house.

Zita was visiting professor Jill and the badgers had all gone out to have a very nice dinner.

Furrgus and Festis.

Unfortunately the weather did not improve as much as one might have hoped, but we went out for dinner anyway.

The visions of steamy ramen had haunted our thoughts all afternoon, so it would take more than a dribble to dissuade us let me tell you.

So it was off to Ramen Isshin, for some CurryTsukemen.

As we left that Mister Aidan Mahoney was loading Niamh’s baggage into his car for the cottage long weekend.

We waved. Niamh waved back. Aidan was too heavily burdened to wave.

After dinner we conducted our evening patrol while returning home.

We snuck in so as not to disturb anyone.

Miss Pancake

It was only Craig and Zita for me to mind tonight.

So we had an extra early dinner before we watched a new detective program.

And I had my keep Zita warm nap.
