Day Two Thousand Two Hundred and Ninety Eight

Miss Pancake

We had another very nice and quiet day today.

After our breakfast time walk, Zita went to the used everything shop.

And when she came home she had a very beautiful new light for my side yard.

And a brand new handle for that door downstairs.

And Craig was all awake and dressed before she got home.

So then everybody had coffees and toasty bagels.

I was very hungry, because everybody forgot it was my lunchtime.

But I remembered them.

And I got some bagel pieces too.

Then Zita went downstairs to look at the place for that brand new machine.

When she was downstairs she woke up the badgers.

They said they were awake all night, reading those very old books.

Zita had to get them sneezing papers, because the books were very dusty.

Zita asked them what they were looking for?

They said that Craig’s story reminded them of a story their great grandad told them.

All about hidden treasures.

And a very secret cave beside the giant ocean.

And it was not so very far from their castle.

But not even their father The Laird knew where it was.

But Mister Lochlainn said that it was minded by the very scary Sluagh. My goodness.

Then Colonel Dugal said that Festis and Furrgus have a new hobby.

Then he pulled his giant skirt over his head and went back to sleep.

Zita told me when she came upstairs, she told Craig too.

It would be nice to find a treasure.

Then we went on a before dinner walk, so we could look for our own treasures.

But we would share it.

We watched a detective program from France last night.

My goodness there were lots of people who might be the nasty person.

My goodness there were.
